Pricing and Inclusions
It’s $95 to book in for your studio newborn session.
This covers:
A 2-hour session in our Cockatoo Valley studio
Time and space to relax while we gently guide you through the session
Family and sibling photos included (because you’re all part of the story)
Full use of our wraps, styling items, change table, and all the little extras
A calm, supportive experience from start to finish
Once we’ve wrapped the session, you’ll stay for a same-day photo viewing.
You will see your images right then and there right after we have finished taking them—no weeks of waiting.
You choose your favourites, purchase your collection, and your final images will be emailed to you within 1–7 days.
Digital image collections start from $600.

When do I book a newborn session?
Newborn sessions: Book your session after your 12 week scan or right after your maternity session! Book for 10 days after your baby's due date and we adjust the date if needed (Because babies don't come on time usually!)
How does the process work?

We’ll reply with our full pricing, inclusions, and a booking calendar so you can choose a date that works for you.
Lock in your session by booking in a date around 10 days after your due date (This is adjustable pending baby's arrival)
Once you’re booked, you’ll get all the info you need to your inbox : What to bring, how to prepare, and exactly what to expect.
We check in before your shoot. A quick touch base to make sure you’re feeling good and everything’s on track.
Show up and we’ll guide you through it all. From the moment you walk in, you’ll be looked after. The session is relaxed and fully guided—nothing to overthink.
View your images straight after. Once we’ve finished shooting, we sit down together and go through your gallery right away. Choose your image package and we’ll take care of the rest. You pick your favourites, we retouch them beautifully, and deliver your final images to your inbox within 7 days.
What if my baby doesn't settle?
They might not, and that’s fine. We follow their lead, work around feeds, and never rush. We just let babies be babies. We have plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and we can implement lots of different settling techniques to get them calm enough to be in the photos.
Do you have clothes I can borrow?
No we don't, and the reason being is because if we did, we would want to cater for every single persons size from the smallest to largest size in every piece. I'd hate for someone to see something they love and then not fit into it because we only had limited sizes. We don't have the storage facilities to store that amount of clothes so we recommend getting something flowy, easy to feed in and loose fitting that you'd wear again OR hire your items for your session!
We love when our parents hire gorgeous dresses or clothes, there is a place called Mama Rentals who have some beautiful stuff!
What kind of photos should I expect?
The kind that feel like you. Think soft, warm, natural moments, your baby in your arms, tiny details you don’t want to forget, quiet glances between you and your partner, sleepy snuggles, and that hazy, love-soaked energy that fills the room in those early weeks. We’ll take a mix of images: your baby on their own, with each parent, as a whole family, and siblings if you bring them along. Nothing overly styled or posed. We will get you to hold your little baby in gorgeous little positions.. Just real, beautiful photos that tell the story of what this season feels like. You’ll walk away with a gallery that feels honest, calm and connected. Photos that’ll still make your heart ache (in the best way) years from now.
What should my baby wear?
Keep it simple, because your baby is the focus, not the outfit.We want to see all those beautiful little details: their hands, feet, soft skin and tiny expressions. Soft, neutral onesies, muslin wraps, or even just their bare skin photograph best. Nothing bright, busy, or too layered, less is more when the star of the show is already this cute.Honestly, the basics from Best & Less or Target are perfect. We especially love those onesies where their little hands and feet can peek out—we’re always here for a good bean photo!
How long do the sessions go for?
Your session itself will go for around an hour.
After we finish shooting, you’ll see your images straight away on the studio screen, choose your favourites, and pay for your package on the day.
From there, I’ll retouch your selected images and send them to you within 1–7 days. If you’ve ordered artwork or albums, I’ll get everything ordered for you and shipped directly to your door.

What if I am feeling overwhelmed or not myself?
That’s exactly why this session is built to feel like a soft exhale. You don’t have to show up with makeup on in full glam, or have everything ‘together’.
This is a calm, slow space where you can just be, and let someone else take care of things for a little while. Come as you are, we’ve got you and I will make sure you look incredible in your images.

Hey, I'm Jade
I totally get it, stepping in front of the camera can feel a bit nerve-wracking, especially when you’re brand-new to motherhood.
Maybe you're thinking, "Will I even look okay after giving birth? Can I handle a photo shoot on two hours of sleep?" As an ex-midwife and a mum myself, let me reassure you—these feelings are completely normal, and you're exactly where you need to be. You don’t have to worry about feeling awkward or knowing how to pose. I'll gently guide you through everything, from how to comfortably hold your baby to what on earth to do with your hands. Most mums arrive feeling a bit unsure and leave genuinely surprised by how relaxed, effortless, and enjoyable the experience actually was.
Whether your little one needs extra cuddles, snack breaks, or has zero interest in being still, that's completely fine. With three beautifully neurodivergent kids of my own (and yep, me too!), I deeply understand the unpredictability and beautiful chaos that comes with having a newborn—and even more so if you’re juggling older kids or toddlers as well. Your baby's rhythm is always the one we follow.
This isn't just about taking pretty pictures, it’s about capturing your story, your connection, and those fleeting newborn details you'll hold close forever. My studio is your calm, judgement-free space, a place where you can arrive exactly as you are—messy bun, tired eyes, overflowing heart and all. Because when you feel relaxed and genuinely comfortable, the photos become more than beautiful. They become a reflection of you and the incredible job you're already doing. And remember, you absolutely don’t need to feel ready or perfectly organised to book. I'll support you every step of the way, making the entire process easy, reassuring, and, honestly, pretty bloody enjoyable.

Once booked - We will be in touch before your shoot to get organised for it and then you simply come to your session and let us do our thing.

View and purchase your photos on the same day
After your session you can view and purchase your photos in person and we will retouch them and send them across to you within 7 days
